OVERVIEW
A woman, skinny, pale, named Jana, sits at her window, open, overlooking the dim neighborhood. Coldness and darkness reign both outside and inside. A neighbor’s call breaks her evasive thoughts. Jana is traumatized. She has a suitcase to pack, a trip to make, a husband to join. Suddenly she hears a voice: “mama, wake up”.
STATEMENT
"I cannot tell whether Lebanon’s fate dictates eternal suffering, or if this is no more than a mere exaggeration. They say we are resilient; but at what expense? Inspired by true, yet painful events, the movie takes the viewer onto an emotion discovery path, dwelling on a peripeteia that reshaped both heart and stone." - Roy SFEIR
